Koren has been a pharmacist at Schroeder Drugs for over 30 years. She is originally from Boonville/Columbia, MO and currently resides in Washington with her two cats, Charlie Brown and Linus. When she's not managing the pharmacy, she stays busy reading, doing cross-stitch, traveling, or enjoying music through singing in her church choir or attending shows at The Muny or The Fox Theater. Her favorite thing about being a pharmacist is providing healthcare for her patients, friends, and neighbors. Her favorite things about Schroeder's are the people she works with and working at a historic business in downtown Washington.
Mark graduated from the UMKC School of Pharmacy in 2002 with a Doctor of Pharmacy. His family includes his wife Kristin, 3 sons Jacob, Ryan, and William, 2 cats, and a dog. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, gardening, and landscaping. His favorite thing about working in pharmacy is visiting with all of the customers. What he likes so much about Schroeder's is that the staff is so friendly. If Mark wasn't working in pharmacy he would be a stay-at-home Dad with his 3 boys, staying busy working odd jobs. Mark rejoined the Schroeder's team in 2017 and we are absolutely thrilled to have him back.
Larry is originally from St. Louis, MO but has been an employee (or owner) of Schroeder Drugs for over 30 years. His family includes his wife Jackie, sons Mark (and his wife Kristin) and Eric, and his 3 grandsons Jacob, Ryan, and William. When he's not working at the pharmacy, Larry enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, and gardening. His favorite things about working in pharmacy are the interactions with people, problem-solving, and continuing to learn something new every day. His favorite things about Schroeder's are the hometown and family-feel, the personal service, and the deep customer relationships-both new and old. If he wasn't working in pharmacy Larry would be a park ranger or scout leader.
Elizabeth is originally from Washington and has been a Pharmacy Technician at Schroeder's for over 9 years. Her favorite part about working in pharmacy is interacting with patients who she knows by name as they come in. She also really likes the team atmosphere at Schroeder's. When she's not at work she enjoys traveling and watching, listening to, or reading about St. Louis Blues hockey. LGB! Elizabeth is also our resident expert on essential oils and also helps manage our Facebook page.
Lisa has lived in Washington since birth and has worked at Schroeder's for more than 39 years. She's the 3rd oldest of 7 sisters, all with names starting with the letter 'L'. Lisa has 2 daughters, one which left our world in 2008, the other who is a pharmacist. Lisa says she is blessed to be the grandmother to 3 amazing granddaughters. When Lisa isn't working at the pharmacy she also works as a realtor with Dolan Realtors. As if that isn't enough already, whenever she has any spare time, Lisa enjoys traveling on float trips and road trips, and spending time with her family. Her favorite things about working in pharmacy and at Schroeder's are interacting with all the people and being in a position of movement and change every day. If she wasn't working at the pharmacy she would love to spend more time working in real estate.
Lori is originally from Washington and joined the Schroeder's team in the fall of 2016 after working at a hospital pharmacy for several years. Lori is married and has a daughter. In her spare time she enjoys reading, knitting, making candles, and kayaking. She likes working in the pharmacy because it applies her healthcare education and background and continues to learn something new everyday. If she wasn't working in pharmacy Lori would be learning photography and traveling more, immediately after she wins the lottery. We are all rooting for her! Lori is also in charge of coordinating community events and outreach at Schroeder's and does a wonderful job getting us involved.
Samantha is originally from Washington and graduated from Washington High School. She's currently attending East Central College working towards a nursing degree. Her family includes her brothers, 2 dogs, and 1 cat. During her spare time she enjoys painting, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. The parts of her job she enjoys the most are meeting all the customers and learning about medicine.
Shalon joined the Schroeders team in 2017 and we are thrilled to have her on board. She graduated from Sullivan High and ECC before starting a family back 2009. She's a proud wife to Nick and mother to Lukas and Macy. She enjoys attending her children's sports events and heading to the beach in her spare time. Her favorite thing about pharmacy is getting to know all the customers on a personal level. She really enjoys working with our MAXcare program, helping patients get all of their meds synchronized and working in an environment that feels like a hometown, family pharmacy.
Sydney has worked at Schroeder's for over a year while also attending college at East Central and will be attending St. Louis Community College for Radiology in the Fall of 2018. Her family includes her parents and brother as well as 2 dogs named Peanut & Beans. Outside of work she enjoys relaxing watching Netflix or Hulu. She enjoys learning about all the different medications and their uses. She also likes the hometown feeling at Schroeder's and getting to know our wonderful customers.
Connie is one of the newer members of the team, joining in the winter of 2016, and can frequently be found helping customers find the perfect items in the front of the store. Connie is originally from Sullivan. She enjoys thrifting, gardening, and spending time with her husband, 2 sons, and granddaughter. She enjoys the small-town local feel of Schroeders. If she wasn't working here she would be doing something else working with children. In fact she has worked with special needs children for 15 years.
Eleanor has worked at Schroeder's since the fall of 2016 and is going to graduate from high school in 2018. When she's not at work she enjoys doing Cheer and playing in the orchestra. She really likes all the different candies and knick-knacks that we have at Schroeder's that you can't find elsewhere. Eleanor says if she wasn't working at Schroeder's she would be a very poor high school cheerleader.
Judy is a true Washingtonian, having worked for Schroeder's for 46 years and gone to school in downtown Washington prior to that. She has an associates of arts degree and is the youngest of 9 children. She has six brothers, 2 sisters, and Beagle/Jack Russell mix named Logan that all mean the world to her. Her favorite part about her job is managing the front-end and merchandising. She says her favorite part about Schroeder's is all of the interesting people she has met over the years and that it has always maintained a family-feel. If she wasn't working at Schroeder's she would love to do something with animals, possibly working at the zoo.
